Klein Water Treatment Plant

The South Adams County Water & Sanitation District Administration Klein Water Treatment Facility was designed and constructed to create a chemistry lab addition at the Klein Water Treatment Plant located within Commerce City, Colorado. The project provided the facilities and equipment necessary to allow SACWSD to implement a testing and monitoring program for a variety of regulated and unregulated compounds in water. By creating a custom funding source with district and federal funds, our team was able to greatly increase the size of this lab and, therefore, increase the benefits that this lab provides the local community.  DCS worked closely with county personal and assisted in the creation of a state-of-the-art testing laboratory that met specifications of both direct users and staff.

The designated budget was $720,000, but DCS completed the project under-budget for $685,000.
